Anushka is an actress and producer from Bollywood. She has been recognized for acting as well as being among the best-paid Bollywood actresses. Nush has been a Brand Ambassador for a variety of businesses and is the owner of her own women's clothing line. Forbes Magazine featured her. Anushka Sharma is daughter of Kumar Sharma (retd.) and Ashima Sharma. She was born in Ayodhya UP on 1 May 1988. Anushka's father is an officer in the colonel (retd.) Her mother is a homemaker. Karnesh, Anushka Sharma's older brother who served in Merchant Navy is now a filmmaker. Anushka has completed her studies at the Army School Bangalore. She is also a bachelor of Arts from Mount Carmel College in Bangalore. Anushka is a master of studies in economics. Anushka Sharma did not want to become an actress. Instead She wanted to become a fashion model or a writer. Anushka was able to complete her degree in Mumbai she enrolled in Elite Model Management. She was trained by style consultant Prasad Bidapa. Anushka's first time as a fashion model was in the year 2017, after she modelled with Wendell Rodricks at Lakme Fashion Week, and then was chosen by Rodricks to be a model at the Spring Summer 2007 collection. Anushka Sharma has participated with a number of campaigns for brands since she made her Lakme Fashion Week debut. They include ads in the name of Fiat Palio and Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka Sharma alongside her modelling career joined an acting school and began giving auditions to film. Anushka was first seen in a role of acting in a film by Shah Rukh Khan opposite Anushka. To prepare herself for the screening test, Anushka Sharma stayed a full day. Then she was offered three films with Yash Raj Films. She played the young wife of a man who was older in the movie (the the same role Shah Rukh Khan played). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka performed along with Shahid Kapoor and Vir Das, and Meiyang Chang in the 2010 movie "Badmash Company". This movie was met with mixed review. Anushka was also seen alongside Ranveer in the movie 'Band Baaja Baaraat' in which she portrayed an Punjabi middle class woman who set up her own company. The movie was a huge success with a lot of praise. The contract of Anushka's for three films under Yash Raj Films was completed with the Band Baaja Baraat.
